14 AMAZING PLACES WHERE YOU CAN CUT YOUR BUDGET

14 Amazing Places Where You Can Cut Your Budget

When you have established your spending budget, and you have reached the optimization of your money, and you probably ask yourself Where can I save more money? It is when we can become more daring and daring with that, because this trip to Financial Security, the more we achieve, the more we want to achieve. In my case, after cutting into the most “obvious” things in my budget and after talking to my financial consultant, I was able to get 14 places that perhaps apply to your daily life:

1. Interest Rates: You may be surprised to know this, but calling the bank to get a lower interest rate is not far-fetched. You can also transfer your credit card statements to another credit card with offers ranging from 3 to 6 months without interest: this means that if you move the credit from one bank to another, you would have months of grace to pay the balance (very convenient when you are doing the snowball effect to end this financial burden). No one knows this better thanyour accountant.

2. Dining Out: You don't have to cut it out completely, but come on: Eating out every weekend is not going to help with your finances. Very simple $ 50 for dinner X 52 weeks is $ 2,600 for meals, not counting wine or desserts.

3. Food in the Supermarket: Buy when you can generic brands from the supermarket (such as ARO, Farmatodo, Publix, Whole Foods etc). Limit your visits to the supermarket to one per week, to avoid spending on unnecessary things. Also avoid going to the supermarket hungry (the brain works in such a way that it will make you buy more food).

4. Medicines: Buy generic medicines, exercise to stay healthy.

5. Pets: I think you will be happier playing with him at home than buying a new toy that will look old in a couple of days, or buying expensive dog biscuits. Limit "pampering" to your pet.

6. Transportation: My Dutch friends love to use bicycles for their daily tasks. You can try going to work with several friends (I tried several years ago, make sure to comply with the schedules agreed between you), take the bus or subway to do some of your errands, so you save on gas and parking the car.

7. Liquor: It does not ask them to stop drinking their wine at dinner, or to have a beer on a hot day, but you can change brands to less expensive ones. Don't worry, I also can't tell a 21-year-old from a 12-year-old whiskey;).

8. Electricityd: Disconnect your computer when you stop using it; turn off the A / C when you leave your house; increase the temperature by a degree or two. If it is cold in your area, lower the temperature and bundle up with a blanket or sweater.

9. Telephone : how many times do we think we have the best plan for us, but then we realize that a better offer comes out. We can go back to the phone operator and negotiate a change of plans. I have a prepaid phone and I apply a budget of $ 40 / month and I have plenty of time to talk. Note: I use Skype for long distance calls (another $ 20 / month), and I use text messages that are sent over the internet and reach the cell phone of the person in the other country. To be honest I did not know this until I read an article on saving by money by an accounting firm.

10. Gifts: The next time you get an offer of "Buy 2 and the third is free" take advantage and buy it for gifts. Some already know what my position is regarding gifts: it is preferable to give your time with your friends, share a dinner at home, than give something that nobody uses or that can be forgotten the next day. The moments we spend with our friends are the ones that are carried to death, not the gifts.

11. Rent: Negotiate with the owner of your condo, if you have been a good tenant and have paid on time, I assure you that you will prefer to earn a little less, to lose a good tenant and have another that is disastrous.

12. Food: Buy the products you can in boxes at wholesale stores, and store them in portions. In my house we place the meat and chicken in plastic sealed bags, with what is necessary for each meal. It is practical, we have the measure of what we eat and it is easier to organize in the refrigerator.

13. Exercises: Give up that gym membership that you only use sometimes, and find cheaper ways to exercise. Organize a football game in your office, or have a long run, buy yourself some DVDs of Jane Fonda or any exercise and you can see them every day.

14. Laundry: Hand wash delicate things to lower the number of loads in your washing machine. Air dry to reduce or eliminate washer consumption, or to save coins. It may not seem like much but if you take it to a year, it is enough electricity and / or money.
